Sri Lanka: After the death of a large number of cattle due to bad weather in Sri Lanka, the government has taken a big step. As a precaution, the government has banned the transportation of beef and mutton. Actually, a large number of goats and cows have died due to extreme cold in the last two days.

Taking the matter seriously, the government has strictly banned the transportation of beef and mutton at the district and provincial level. Talking about the figures, so far 358 cows have died in the northern province of the country while 191 goats have died. On the other hand, if we look at the figures of Eastern Province, 444 cows, 34 buffaloes and 65 goats have died here.

Samples will be sent to lab for testing – Hemali Kothalwaya

Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe (Ranil Wickremesinghe) has issued orders to ensure public health protection. Director General of the Department Hemali Kothalwaya (Hemali Kothalwaya) said in a statement, samples of these dead animals will be sent to the Veterinary Research Institute Lab for examination.
